The Theatre Show

The Theatre Show, 8 March 2012

Barry Evans talks about One Play, One Day II, repeating the success of an event last year when a group of writers, directors and actors created six fifteen-minute plays in just 24 hours but this time with performances at two different venues on the same street in Salford at the same time: the Black Lion and the King's Arms, the latter housing leading fringe venue Studio Salford.

We review two productions: Thin Air by Berlie Doherty from Cotton Grass Theatre at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester and Matthew Dunster's adaptation of the 1958 novel Saturday Night and Sunday Morning by Alan Sillitoe at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.
