The Theatre Show

The Theatre Show, 5 April 2012

Leading contemporary choreographer Hofesh Shechter speaks about his production Political Mother, which he will bring to The Lowry later this month, and about the way he puts his work together, for which he also composes all the music.

We review three major productions that have just opened in the region: the Bolton Octagon revival of Terence Rattigan's The Winslow Boy, new musical Monkee Business based on the songs of 60s band The Monkees at the Opera House in Manchester and a collaboration between The Lowry, the Royal Exchange Theatre and Hallé Orchestra for a full production of Leonard Bernstein's Wonderful Town starring Connie Fisher.
