The Theatre Show

The Theatre Show, 9 September 2010

Donald Judge came into the studio to talk about a musical he has written called Labyrinth based on the Greek myth but with a twist that jumps for part of the time into modern-day Bollington. This will be performed by young people at Bollington Arts Centre in December but he is looking for cast members now.

There are reviews of Kes, adapted by Laurence Till from the book A Kestrel for a Knave by Barry Hines, which opens the autumn season at Oldham Coliseum directed by artistic director Kevin Shaw, and the revival by Bill Kenwright of Evita, the last show that Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber collaborated on about the wife of post-war Argentinian president Juan PerĂ³n.
