The Theatre Show

The Theatre Show, 25 November 2010

This episode features an exclusive interview with Chris Honer, artistic director of Manchester's Library Theatre Company, about this week's big announcement that the currently-homeless theatre company will not settle at Theatre Royal in Peter Street as previously planned but will come together with Cornerhouse, the leading Manchester independent cinema, in a brand new arts complex in Manchester due to open in spring 2014.

David Slack, director and founder of Manchester's 24:7 Theatre Festival, returns to The Theatre Show to talk about the script submissions for the next festival, which open on 6 December 2010, and changes to the festival itself for summer 2011.

There is a review of David Copperfield, adapted by Deborah McAndrew from the novel by Charles Dickens, at Octagon Theatre in Bolton and lots more theatre news for the region.
