The Theatre Show

The Theatre Show, 17 March 2011

Director Lee Tipton takes time out from rehearsals at Wilmslow Guild Players to talk to us, where he is directing an amateur production of The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Production of Macbeth by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Junior.

We bring you a summary of the events at the 2011 Manchester International Festival on the day that the programme was announced, and have a review of David Thacker's production of The Price by Arthur Miller at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton.

In theatre news, we have casting news from the Royal Exchange and the Octagon, an opportunity to be part of the chorus of Sweeney Todd at the Octagon, performance opportunities for young people in Oldham Coliseum's TheatreLAB and DigiLAB groups, Johnny Vegas and Red Nose Day at rehearsals for Ghost at the Opera House and much more.
