The Theatre Show, 7 April 2011
Actor and writer Oliver Lansley from theatre company Les Enfants Terribles returns to The Theatre Show to tell us about the company's new show The Vaudevillains, which is coming to The Lowry in Salford next week. He also talks about the Internet campaign to persuade the BBC to commission a second series of the sit com Whites starring Alan Davies, which Oli wrote last year.
We review Corrie, the stage celebration of fifty years of ITV soap Coronation Street scripted by Jonathan Harvey, which is currently at the Palace Theatre in Manchester as part of a national tour.
Back to the Arts Council England (ACE) cuts, we look at a couple of north west theatre organisations that have lost their entire ACE funding after last week's announcements.
