The Theatre Show

The Theatre Show, 9 June 2011

Young director Elizabeth Newman tells us about her production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, which will be the largest production staged by Bolton's Octagon Theatre for many years.

We review for you The Adventures of Baron Munchausen from National Black Light Theatre Prague at The Lowry in Salford, and Library Theatre Company's promenade staging of Charles Dickens's Hard Times adapted by Charles Way and performed in different locations around a Victorian mill building, Murrays' Mills, in Ancoats, just outside Manchester's city centre.
