The Theatre Show, 8 September 2011
We speak to actress Polly Lister who lives in Bollington but is currently appearing in three plays at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick (The Blue Room by David Hare, Keep Smiling Through by Lisa Evans and Hay Fever by Noël Coward). Not only that but she got married right in the middle of a very busy summer season.
There are reviews of two major productions in the week that the autumn seasons start to kick off: Dancing Shoes, the George Best Story by Marie Jones and Martin Lynch with music and lyrics by JJ Gilmour and Pat Gribben and Bang Bang Bang by Stella Feehily from Out of Joint theatre company at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton.
We also have a look through the new season at leading Manchester fringe theatre Studio Salford.
