The Theatre Show

The Theatre Show, 20 October 2011

We speak to Charlie Cook of Wilmslow Guild Players who is currently directing his own adaptation of the Oscar Wilde story Lord Arthur Savile's Crime for the amateur group.

We also have a chat with actress Louise Bangay who is playing one of the greatest roles in the American theatre canon, Amanda Wingfield in Tennessee Williams's The Glass Menagerie, at Oldham Coliseum after a short run at the New Vic in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

There are reviews of two productions: a revival by the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester of C P Taylor's Good, marking the thirtieth anniversary of the play's first production and of the playwright's death, and the first UK tour of Legally Blonde The Musical, which is currently at the Opera House in Manchester.
